Nozavi Apps Support Forum http://support.nozavi.com/index.php? <![CDATA[More downloaders enhancement request]]> http://support.nozavi.com/index.php?tid=135&tpg=1#p363
I saw a post mentioning a version 3. I hope it is coming along!

I'd like to request two things:
1) Additional site's for download, such as Hubble, and Space (although it's hard to find the high-res stuff!
2) Perhaps a way to configure the program so that we (users) could help in generating the database for additional downloads (if that's how you do it).

Again, thanks for the program

Stephan

Downloading fails time after time.

These files remain in my download folder, so I guess they are at fault? Offline?

<![CDATA[default path changed]]> http://support.nozavi.com/index.php?tid=118&tpg=1#p343
The only problems are some different names (missing string portable in the name) of the exe files (I changed them) and the detection of the firefox and thunderbird versions. I use the newest ones but some older versions are detectet. Maybe the reason is that I updated them using the menu (help>about firefox>search for updates)?

Is it possible to add a click box to decide whether the downloaded apps are deleted after installation?

Do you know a solution or work around (without renaming) for my problem?

<![CDATA[NATGEO WALLPAPER DOWNLOADER PROBLEMS]]> http://support.nozavi.com/index.php?tid=95&tpg=1#p316

Hi Stefan, I recently downloaded the NatGeo Wallpaper Downloader. I instructed the program to run as administrator but to no avail. The program always seems to stop downloading at some point, often not even halfway through the download. I note that others have the same problem. The other thing I noted is that my screen size is not catered for: 1920x1080. That is not the end of the world, as smaller sizes still show the photos in good detail. I have Windows 7 64Bit, 4Gb RAM and plenty of space on my disk.
In respect of the above I have two questions:
1. Will future versions of the software also cater for size: 1920x1080?
2. When will a new version come out that does not hang up during the download.

I nevertheless wish to thank you Stefan for making all these photos available. The photos are outstanding and each of them can be used as a wallpaper that covers the whole of my widescreen. You are doing a fantastic job doing all this work for us but the above issues need to be addressed I imagine.
Regards, Frits
Hi, The wallpapers are downloaded directly from the natgeo servers, so I can't influence their size. At most, I can include an image resizer in the NGWD package, but that might double its size and offer an unsatisfactory result... I understand your problem, I have the same resolution, but it's not my fault natgeo decided to release all its walls at 1280x1024 or 1600x1200... I'll do my best to release it as soon as possible, but since we're no longer talking about thousands of wallpapers (the new version will most probably provide around/over 10K wallpapers)... creating and managing a list won't be an easy task. I've spent a lot of time improving the app's core and including some cool extras (for those who donate) like a wallpaper manager, but, now that they're finished, I'll just have to find a way to improve wallpaper management (on my side). PS: I'm also considering creating a screensaver as an extra. (since the current version forces the user to use the OS's solution)]]>
